Shelly has over twenty-five years of experience in the entertainment industry and has two degrees in Directing and Technical Theatre. She has also studied with Michael Shurtleff, Titos Vandis, Salome Jens, Ted Ziegler, Christopher Robin and with Brice Studio (NYC), HB Studio (NYC), Groundling Theatre (LA) and Second City.
She has produced and directed over 40 theatrical productions. Her theatrical directorial and production credits include Oliver, Music Man, Star Spangled Girl, and Driving Yourself Crazy (by Michael Shurtleff). In addition, she has served in various capacities in feature motion picture production, including Air Force One, Milk Money, Lost in Yonkers, and the short story A Rose for Emily.
Sinclair produced/directed a Dorothy Parker short on mini DV entitled Diary of a New York Lady, in 2002. In 1994, she produced a feature-length motion picture for Oregon Pictures entitled Tattoo Boy, which was shot in Dayton, Ohio. This motion picture was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. It received the Golden Starfish Honorable Mention Award at The Hamptons International Film Festival and Best Feature Film Award at The New York Underground Film Festival.
In addition to her experience in motion picture production, Shelly boasts an impressive list of experience in other areas of production, including choreography, sound editing, video, light design, writing and composing, technical direction, and stage direction, as well as acting on film, video and stage.
On top of her production experience, Shelly has written 5 screenplays to expand and grow her company and continue her love for film.
